I’D LOVE TO CONNECT WITH A FEW AWESOME INDIVIDUALS (MUCH LIKE YOURSELF) WHO ARE INTERESTED IN CONSISTENTLY SECOND SHOOTING WITH ME ON WEDDING DAYS during the 2023 wedding season. I would love TO GET TO KNOW & WORK WITH A FEW PEOPLE CONSISTENTLY, RATHER THAN BLINDLY ATTEMPTING TO FIND SOMEONE LAST MINUTE & HOPING FOR THE BEST RESULTS.
SINCE WE WILL BE WORKING TOGETHER SO CLOSELY/frequently, I WOULD LOVE if we could BUILD A GENUINE FRIENDSHIP ALONG THE WAY, so you'll have to be ready for all of my awkwardness, sarcasticness, oversharing, and trauma dumping - I mean how else would we get to know each other? 😆
Job Description:
A second photographer is meant to assist the lead photographer (me) on wedding days with the main role of capturing moments from a different perspective and moments that the lead photographer can’t be present for. A good example of this would be if a couple is getting ready in two different locations. as my second photographer, you would capture moments happening in one place while I capture the moments happening in the other. another example would be us CAPTURing MOMENTS that happen SIMULTANEOUSly, LIKE each of us focusing on the look on THE COUPLES' FACES WHEN THEY SEE EACH OTHER FOR THE FIRST TIME, from two different perspectives.
As a second photographer, you might use a different lens, photograph at a different angle or perspective, or just help me out by providing a second pair of eyes to pay attention to details or hands to help carry things.

+ Must provide your own equipment (Nikon users preferred)
+ dual memory card slot required (1 SD CARD PROVIDED to you before each event)
+ Off-camera flash knowledge preferred
+ Must be LGBTQ+ inclusive
+ COMFORTABLE WORKING/COVERING MOMENTS ALONE
+ Willingness to Dress appropriately and professionally
+ limited social media usage of photos
+ Full usage of images for portfolio + on website after 4 months
+ must sign second shooter contract
+ WILLING TO TRAVEL OUT OF STATE, VIA CAR OR AIRPLANE, WHEN NECESSARY (TRAVEL COSTS COVERED)
Pay Rate:
$55/HR
+ has CAPTURED PLENTY OF WEDDINGS
+ excellent PORTFOLIO
+ OCF knowledge
+ Shoots in manual mode
$45/HR
+ has CAPTURED A FEW WEDDINGS
+ SOLID PORTFOLIO
+ Has some OCF Knowledge
+ Shoots in manual mode
$35/HR
+ Has captured a couple weddings
+ decent Portfolio
+ Understands how to shoot in manual mode
+ Basic understanding of the exposure triangle
$25/hr
+ a LITTLE PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE, but not weddings
+ small portfolio
+ Basic understanding of Manual mode and the exposure triangle
